How our two-step AI QA works

Every AI Reviewed and Team Verified production job gets a second-model QA pass and a segment-level quality report.

Pure AI translation is fast — but speed without signals is risky for business documents. That is why AI Reviewed and Team Verified tiers include a second AI model that reviews the first pass and produces a quality report.

Step 1 — Translate with layout preserved

BabelBee segments your document, translates with AI, and keeps formatting so you are not rebuilding tables and headings by hand.

Step 2 — Review and flag

A separate model checks for common failure modes:

  • Omissions and additions
  • Number, date, and unit drift
  • Terminology that conflicts with your glossary
  • Segments that read fine in isolation but fail in context

Flagged segments appear in the workbench so reviewers know exactly where to focus.

Step 3 — Team sign-off (Team Verified)

On Team Verified, Owners, Reviewers, or Admins must approve or waive flagged segments before export. Your team stays in control; BabelBee does not replace your reviewers.
